JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort invites guests to experience two distinct perspectives of the Maldives with its new Overwater and Beach Escape, a split-stay experience that moves from life above the Indian Ocean to the quiet beauty of the island’s shoreline.

Designed as a minimum four-night stay, the experience pairs two nights in an Overwater Pool Villa with two nights in a Beach Pool Villa, allowing the landscape to shape each chapter of the journey.

Suspended above the turquoise lagoon, the Overwater Pool Villas place the ocean at the centre of the experience. Expansive windows frame uninterrupted views, private pools offer a place to linger above the water, and direct lagoon access makes an early morning swim or spontaneous dip part of the natural rhythm of the day.

The perspective shifts on shore. Set against powder-soft sands and tropical greenery, the Beach Pool Villas bring guests closer to the island itself, combining private pools with contemporary interiors and an easy connection to the beach. Moving between the two creates a stay that feels subtly different from one day to the next, revealing the Maldives from water and land without ever leaving the resort.

Beyond the villas, days can unfold across the lagoon through guided snorkelling excursions, paddle boats, stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. At Spa by JW, treatments featuring BABOR precision skincare offer moments of restoration, while the 24-hour fitness centre allows guests to maintain their own wellbeing rhythm throughout the stay.

Families can also experience Family by JW™, where daily activities encourage younger guests to engage with the underwater world and island life. Across the resort, signature dining experiences, curated beverage journeys and wellness programmes add further dimensions to the stay.

Located in the Emboodhu Finolhu lagoon, just 15 minutes from Velana International Airport, JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort opened in January 2025 with 80 private pool villas. The Overwater and Beach Escape is now available to book, offering a way to experience two of the Maldives’ most defining settings within a single island journey.
