Returning from 13–15 August 2026, the Fari Islands Festival continues to build on its vision of bringing together creativity, culture, music, gastronomy, and wellbeing through a shared celebration across The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands and Patina Maldives, Fari Islands.
Presented under the theme “One Festival, Every Sense,” this year’s edition welcomes an expanded line-up of internationally recognised creatives whose work spans art, music, design, movement, and contemporary culture, reinforcing the festival’s position as one of the Maldives’ most distinctive cultural gatherings.
Joining the programme is Academy Award-nominated actress Rosamund Pike, alongside globally recognised designer and cultural tastemaker Sean Wotherspoon, endurance athlete and wellness advocate Milind Soman, and internationally acclaimed Dutch DJ and producer FS Green.
Sean Wotherspoon will lead an interactive art residency centred around a large-scale reef-inspired sculpture, inviting guests to contribute to a collaborative artwork that reflects the festival’s ongoing dialogue between creativity and environmental awareness.
Wellbeing also takes on a broader dimension through Milind Soman, whose programme explores movement, mindfulness, and holistic living through guided experiences designed to encourage a deeper connection with both self and surroundings.
As evening unfolds, music once again becomes one of the defining expressions of the festival. FS Green joins an already impressive line-up featuring Sébastien Tellier and NOTEP, bringing together an eclectic programme that moves effortlessly across genres, cultures, and artistic influences.
Together with an evolving programme of culinary collaborations, immersive workshops, wellness experiences, and creative encounters, the festival continues to celebrate curiosity as a way of experiencing the Maldives beyond the traditional resort stay.
Co-hosted by The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands and Patina Maldives, Fari Islands, the Fari Islands Festival offers a rare opportunity to engage with globally recognised creatives in a setting where luxury hospitality, contemporary culture, and island life come together over three inspiring days.
