This festive season, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island turns its gaze skyward with Celestial Seas, a programme of celebrations inspired by the stars above the Indian Ocean. Running from 21 December 2026 to 6 January 2027, the season brings together destination dining, Champagne-led experiences, live entertainment and evenings shaped by the island after dark.

The celebrations open on 21 December with the resort’s Tree Lighting Ceremony, followed by a Starlight Champagne Soirée featuring Ruinart Champagne, seafood delicacies and an evening beneath the stars. A Maldivian Moonlight Feast follows on 22 December, bringing local flavours and island hospitality into focus through a traditional dinner and locally inspired beverages.

Dining takes a prominent place throughout Celestial Seas. On 23 December, the Constellation Wine Dinner presents the prestigious labels of Guado al Tasso alongside a curated menu, before Christmas Eve is marked with the Celestial Christmas Eve Gala, bringing together festive dining, live entertainment and performances.

Christmas morning begins with a Champagne breakfast featuring caviar and black truffle, while the days that follow move through a series of distinctive culinary experiences. Guests can gather for a Lobster & Champagne Beach Barbecue, experience the craft of cocktails at The Bartenders Atelier, or spend an evening at Koko Grill with Japanese whisky, sake and a curated sushi menu.

One of the season’s most distinctive dinners takes place on 29 December at Ithaa Undersea Restaurant, where a sea-aged Dom Pérignon experience is paired with cuisine and Château Palmer wines beneath the Indian Ocean. The following evening brings a change of pace with a Festive Street Food Market, bringing together flavours from around the world through live stations and festive counters.

As 2026 draws to a close, guests can toast the year’s final sunset with cocktails at Rangali before gathering for the Celestial New Year’s Gala Dinner, complete with live entertainment, performances and a countdown into 2027. New Year’s Day continues the celebrations with a Champagne breakfast, followed in the days ahead by a Wagyu and lobster Champagne dinner, mixology beneath the stars, a Tuscan-inspired dinner featuring Guado al Tasso wines and an intimate Chef’s Table at Koko Grill.

Throughout the festive period, the Celestial Champagne Hour runs daily from 21 December to 6 January, pairing premium labels served through Coravin with caviar and refined accompaniments.

Entertainment is woven throughout the programme, led by the Nefelopetra Cabaret Troupe, whose performances combine music, dance and circus arts, alongside aerial and fire performances from Holly & Kacie. Live music from David & Rima, sets by DJ Dianka and saxophone performances by Andrew add further rhythm to evenings across the islands.

Celestial Seas concludes on 6 January with an Orthodox Christmas Gala Dinner, closing more than two weeks of celebrations that move from intimate dinners beneath the stars to grand festive gatherings by the Indian Ocean.

Against the natural theatre of Rangali Island, Conrad Maldives brings the season to life through food, wine, music and celebration, with the night sky providing a fitting backdrop to the final days of one year and the first moments of the next.
